ANZAC Day Paintings

A Personal Tribute – Lest We Forget

Since 2016, Kerry has painted an original artwork every ANZAC Day (April 25) to honour the bravery and sacrifice of all servicemen, servicewomen, and service animals, past and present.

This practice is deeply personal. Kerry's family has a long history of military service:

• Her Great Uncle was killed in action at ANZAC Cove on 25 April 1915

• One Grandfather served in the AIF during WWII

• Another Grandfather was captured in Greece and spent years as a POW

• Her Father completed National Service in the Royal Australian Navy

• Her Son currently serves in the Royal Australian Navy

Each ANZAC painting is an emotional tribute. While not every piece includes a poppy, the underlying themes are always remembrance, freedom, and sacrifice.
