Community Art Workshops
Community Art & Creative Wellbeing
Art creates connection, builds confidence, and gives people a space to be seen.
Alongside my personal art practice, I facilitate creative sessions for community groups, including weekly workshops with participants at MIFANT (Mental Illness Fellowship of Australia NT).
These sessions provide a supportive space where participants can explore colour, texture and personal expression through painting.
Each canvas represents more than technique —
it reflects courage, engagement, and growing confidence.
Watching participants develop their skills and take pride in their work is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do.
These are ongoing weekly sessions with regular participants, supporting long-term engagement and growth. Over time, I’ve seen participants build real confidence, connection, and creative expression.
Workshops can be tailored for community groups, wellbeing programs, organisations, and creative initiatives.
Here’s what others are seeing through these sessions:
✨ Testimonial
“I know these participants, and their artwork is significantly more developed than when they started.
Kerry has built trust and supported confidence in some of our most disengaged and vulnerable participants.
She is patient, kind, understanding, and fully engaged with participants the entire time.”
