Collection: Original Artwork

It is important first to understand my artwork before making a purchase. You will see a few elements repeated in my art, and you might spot the significance of an artwork’s name as you go along.

• The main element in my ANZAC Inspired theme is, of course, the poppy artwork. The red poppy flower has been the symbol of remembrance for those who fought in wars for a long time. I use red poppies for human remembrance and purple for animals who died during the battles.
• I paint about all wars and fallen heroes. For instance, ‘Freedom Called’ is for all the Aborigines who fought against colonisation and also fought in the Armed Defence Force. It is based on the title of a song about the same theme.
• I also create other paintings (and merchandise) for the rest of the year. In my collection, you will find works that reflect local culture, such as ‘Down Under’, Australian outback inspired paintings such as ‘Beds Are Burning’, and other nature paintings such as ‘Aurora’.
• You will also find various portraits covering different themes (and styles) that I feel was necessary to paint. These capture the essence of a person, such as ‘Psychosonic Cindy' (pictured), and are also a special tribute to each person, and what they represent.
• The collection is very eclectic, so be sure to take a close look.

The power of art never stops. When you have an artwork in your house, it says a bit about your personality, style and outlook on life.
