Designed from my original artwork called 'This is it (Your Soul)'
During a meditation I received a symbol. As it turned out, I discovered this is an actual symbol, and not just something I made up! It is in fact a Unalome.
It comes from Buddhism and is symbolic of the path to enlightenment. The spirals represent the beginning of consciousness, while the twists and turns stand for the different experiences that a person incurs on their way to reaching enlightenment. The lotus flower represents rising and blooming above the murk and the purifying of the spirit to also achieve enlightenment.
My painting is named after the Hothouse Flowers song of the same name.
