This is the fifth painting in my ‘Rock Gods’ Series which is a tribute to all the male musicians who, even in death, continue to this day to have an impact on me in some way or another either through their extreme artistic talents, lyrics, melodies, charisma, or just who they are / were.
Their music is also very nostalgic for me.
Who can’t help falling in love with Elvis, the King of Rock n Roll and the one who started it all!
The smile, the hips, the sensuality, the music, the songs, the lyrics and of course his magnificent voice all wrapped up into one complete package – what more is there to say about him?
I remember looking forward to watching Elvis movies every Saturday afternoon on tv, and as corny as some were, I did not care as it was Elvis Presley…. sighhhhhh
