About the artwork — Benedictus
Painted on ANZAC Day 2019, Benedictus honours those who served and sacrificed. The red poppy remembers fallen servicemen and women; the purple poppy remembers the animals who served alongside them.
The title refers to the Latin phrase “Benedictus qui venit in nomine Domini” — “Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord”. Lest we forget.
The classic comfy zip-up, featuring air jet spun yarn for a softer fleece with reduced pilling. Once put on, it will be impossible to take off.
